DESCRIPTION :
A French Art Nouveau gilt bronze and glass chandelier. The body of this chandelier is made of gilt bronze crafted into a curved, semi-ovular frame. This top section of the hanging light features the Art Nouveau lines and arabesques that Guimard helped to popularize during the era. Glass and bronze tubes hang from the edges of the frame, creating an ephemeral curtain around the lighting inside. An opaque blue glass plaque also hangs from the frame, marking a delineation between two sides of this oblong chandelier.
